I love film photography because of how physical the medium feels. It connects us creatively to both the past and present. I aim to photograph moments that can be spontaneous, humorous, and vivid. The stories told in my images share a deep complexity within the otherwise mundane.
Subtle Emotion
A series of photographs from my travels in Japan. I had a desire to capture the deep feelings that are evoked beneath the surface from Japanese culture. The landscapes in Japan offer rich colors with intricate detail. From Nagasaki to Sapporo, this country offers strong poetic messages in each moment.
